The Caviary
our caviary is always kept tidy it is brushed every morning and evening and is hoovered every 3 days.
all our cages have tunnels in for the piggies to chew on to keep there teeth down we also use toilet rolls tubes and make boredom breakers out of them.
our runs have tunnels in and are on multiple levels with places to hide and grass trays to eat
Our caviary is in a concrete shed just outside our backdoor, in there we have 10 hutches 4 that are 6ft long and 6 that are 4ft long.The floor is covered with foam mats to help keep it warm aswell as having a heater. because there is no windows in the shed we have put in a uv light to make sure the guinea pigs still get the vitamin D. all round the outside of the shed there will be runs for the guinea pigs these are still under construction we have 2 that is finished it is 8ft long.
on the outside of the shed is an in cove that we have put shelves in and it is used to keep all our spare bowls, bottles, name tags and all our show stuff.
All our hutches are lined along the bottom wit adhesive tiles to avoid damage being done to the hutches.
