ABOUT US

Our breeds 

we breed Teddies mainly but also have some Dutch and pets.

our pets are 2 long hairs that were previously in a school. 

we have 2 cream selfs that belong to our eldest daughter Kensiee and 2 dutch that belong to Alisia.

how it started 

The guinea pigs first came back when we decided we would get 2 pets for our kids to teach them about responsibility. we went to 1 show and ended up buying a couple more. shortly after we came to the decision that we would breed teddies.

cleaning 

we pride ourselves on keeping the caviary clean and tidy all our hutches are cleaned out once a week and spot cleaned every day. all uneaten vegetables are binned at the end of the day aswell as any dirty or wet hay taken out and replaced with clean. the floor is swept and picked up any dirty stuff 2 times a day. 

Feeding 

Feeding: our guinea pigs are fed fresh fruit and veg every morning this will consist on a number of different veg and the occasions bit of fruit. 

in the evening the guineapigs are given clean hay and readi grass aswell as dry food. we have 2 different types of dry food a mixture of country mix and bran is given to boars, babies 2weeks + and unpregnant sows, country mix along is fed to babies under 2 weeks old and pregnant sows that are in early stages, sows that are close to giving birth are fed fruit and veg alone.
